A new location for the Tegfan Open Day has been announced. The Tegfan Open Day (15th and 16th May, 10am – 4pm) has moved to a new location in order to improve the visitor experience even further, making it even bigger and better.
Originally planned to be held at the Tegfan HQ near Pontarsais, we have decided to relocate to a nearby location between Pontarsais and Rhydargaeau, just off the A485 from Carmarthen to Lampeter. The new location has increased parking capacity and enables all static attractions and displays to be on the same site as the machine demonstrations and “try before you buy” area that has been specially developed for the event.

HOW TO GET THERE:
From Carmarthen and the South: take the A485 Northwards towards Lampeter. Passing through Rhydargaeau take the left turn towards Llanpumsaint. The event is 0.2 miles along the lane on the left hand side.
From Lampeter and the North: take the A485 Southwards towards Carmarthen. Passing through Pontarsais go up the hill and take the right turn towards Llanpumsaint. The event is located 0.2 miles along the lane on the left hand side.
From Llandysul: take Heol Y Dderwen south towards Llanpumsaint. After the village turn left towards the cemetery. Passing the Ysgol Llanpumsaint on your left follow the road south towards Rhydargaeau. Cross the B4301 at the crossroads and the event site is located on the right-hand side, half way along the lane.
From Cynwyl Elfed: Take the A484 towards Carmarthen and Glangwili. At Bronwydd Arms take the B4301 towards Pontarsais. At the crossroads with the road between Llanpumsaint and Rhydargaeau, take the lane to the right towards Rhydargaeau. The event site is located on the right-hand side, half way along the lane.

WHAT’S ON:
Food, refreshments and visitor toilet facilities will also be on site, as well as wide range of machines from suppliers such as Kubota, Merlo, Thwaites and Kioti, as well as attachments from Kinshofer, Cangini, AugerTorque, Kubota, Geith and Strickland. Also on display will be a wide range of garden and landscaping machinery from suppliers such as Stihl, Honda, and Cramer, as well as a selection of used construction and garden machinery.
Visitors are requested to sign-in on arrival in order to receive their free gifts. There will be demonstrations throughout the day including:
